THE DEVELOPMENT

Hockley Mills is a mixed-use development comprising 395 homes across eight new buildings of varying uses – along with the introduction of a new entrance to Jewellery Quarter train station, ample cycle storage, and 116 car parking spaces.

The £105m scheme offers a fabulous mixture of one-and two-bedroom apartments & duplexes for rent, with high-quality courtyard spaces, and 28,000K SF of flexible commercial – expected to house a combination of leisure, offices & retail.

Initially brought forward by Blackswan Property (now Cordia Blackswan), the site was purchased by Legal & General, on behalf of its BTR Access Development Partnership. Sir Robert McAlpine Capital Ventures (SRM) secured the forward funding deal to develop the site and appointed its sister company, Sir Robert McAlpine, as the main contractor.
